The Symphonic Dialogue
An evening of power and dialogue, where dramatic intensity meets virtuosity and deep emotion unfolds into symphonic scale.
The concert opens with Schumann’s Genoveva Overture, driven by rhythmic momentum and striking contrasts. Pianist Jerry Tsui performs Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1, a work that combines brilliance and poetry, creating a vivid dialogue between soloist and orchestra.
The second half features Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7, known for its depth, drive, and powerful musical architecture.
Conducted by Tang Wing Kwan, the performance brings together outstanding young local musicians as Museekers Project – Project Musicians.
